Actor Yami Gautam recently spoke about how she balances her professional life with motherhood. She shared that having a strong support system at home has made it possible for her to continue working after becoming a parent. She credited her parents for helping take care of her young son, Vedavid, especially when both she and her husband, Aditya Dhar, are busy with their work.

In a recent interview, she explained, “It’s because of the support system I have; it would have been difficult otherwise. We need help, there’s no denial in that, but we must acknowledge it, and when that help is given, there’s nobody else than your own family. I’m very grateful to my mother because that’s how I can do what I do.” She highlighted that managing both roles is not easy without reliable support at home.

Talking about parenting responsibilities, she said, “With a baby so young, even a set is not the right place, perhaps for a child. It’s literally your heart outside your body, and who do you trust with your heart when both parents are working? Right now, I’m working, and Aditya’s just had both the releases, so now he can be with Vedavid.” She pointed out that both parents take turns depending on their work schedules.

She also added, “Of course, our families are there, so we figure this out together. You can’t fully plan this, you have to go with the flow, keeping in mind that the biggest priority in life forever will be your child, your parents and your family.” Her comments reflect a practical approach to managing work and family life.

During the same conversation, she addressed whether success has changed her or her husband. Referring to the response to Dhurandhar, she said, “Nothing has changed us as people. That also comes from Aditya, and the kind of person he is, very unaffected and extremely humble. I’ve seen him through different phases.” She further shared, “There are highs and lows and vulnerable phases, but it’s not like during that phase we expressed our frustration or let it out. Both of us are extremely thankful to God, for us spirituality is very important, we believe in the Almighty. Good things happen to good people. What’s meant for you may be delayed but never denied.”

On the work front, Yami Gautam will next be seen in Nayyi Navelli, a horror comedy film that is expected to release in theatres before streaming later on Prime Video.

Actor Evelyn Sharma has confirmed that she and her husband Tushaan Bhindi are separating after five years of marriage. She shared that while they are ending their relationship as a couple, they will continue to raise their children together and maintain a respectful bond.

Speaking about the decision, Evelyn said, “Yes, we have decided to go separate ways romantically but are very focused on raising our children together. We would appreciate privacy and assure that this is as amicable as it can be. The couple got married in 2021 in a small ceremony held in Brisbane, Australia, where Tushaan Bhindi works as a surgeon. Over the years, they shared parts of their life together on social media. In 2020, they adopted a puppy named Coco. They welcomed their daughter, Ava Rania Bhindi, in 2021, followed by their son, Arden, in 2023.

In an earlier interview, Evelyn had spoken about their cross cultural relationship. She said, “My husband is, technically Gujarati, he’s from Sydney, Australia. I’m Punjabi German but I feel more Indian than him as I lived in India for 10 years. I’ve travelled so much that I’ve seen so many cultures. We have these mixed cultures in our marriage, and so we’re establishing our own rules.” This reflected how they approached their relationship with a mix of different cultural backgrounds.

Actor Rajshri Deshpande recently shared an update about her health journey while promoting her upcoming Marathi film Baapya. In March, she had revealed that she was diagnosed with grade 1 breast cancer and had undergone surgery. At that time, she mentioned that she was “recovering beautifully” after the procedure.

Now, nearly two months later, she has returned to work and is actively promoting her film. In some of the images, she raised her arms and showed her post surgery scars. Through this, she chose to speak openly about her experience and recovery.

In her note, she explained that the scars are a reminder of her journey. “My scars tell the story of my survival. Every single one is a reminder that I fought, I survived and I conquered,” she wrote. She also added, “Breast cancer left its mark, but it could never touch my spirit. To every woman dimming her light, please rise. You are so beautiful and your scars are not blemishes, they are your crown of courage.”

She further shared her thoughts on returning to normal life and work. “Today, I stand tall for my film promotions with love in my heart and courage in my soul. Here’s to living life to the fullest.” Her post received strong reactions online, with many people appreciating her openness. Earlier, on March 4, she had shared details about her diagnosis. She wrote, “As you’re reading this, it means I’ve finally found the courage to tell my parents that I have been diagnosed with Infiltrating ductal carcinoma (NOS), a grade 1 Breast cancer. Now it’s time you all know. We fortunately caught this early in a routine check-up which gave us a fighting chance. Tons of tests and surgery felt like a rollercoaster ride, but trust me, it was everyone’s love and warmth that carried me through. And seeing my Aai and Papa’s faces after surgery melted my fears into unbreakable strength. With everyone’s support, I feel I am ready to take on the world.”

Rajshri Deshpande began her film career with a small role in Talaash and later appeared in projects like Sacred Games, Angry Indian Goddesses, and Trial By Fire. She was most recently seen in Thug Life.

Priyanka Chopra recently spoke about her early struggles in the film industry, especially when it came to dancing. In an interview, she shared that she found it difficult to manage acting and dance performances at the same time when she had just started her career.

She said, “I was a dreadful dancer when I first started. I was not able to act and nail the choreography at the same time, plus coordinate with my co star. It was just too many things for my 19 or 20 year old brain.” She also recalled an incident while shooting in South Africa with choreographer Raju Khan. According to her, she was missing her dance marks during the shoot, which led to a tense moment on set.

Priyanka explained, “I was filming with Raju Khan in South Africa and missing my marks. He got so upset with me that he threw the mic down, saying, ‘You might come from a pageant, but learn how to dance before you become an actress. ’ He just walked away, and I was so embarrassed.” This experience, she said, made her realise the importance of improving her skills.

To work on her dancing, Priyanka started practising regularly. She shared that she trained for about six hours every day and also practised with Katrina Kaif. Over time, this consistent effort helped her become more confident and skilled as a performer. She also mentioned that she now shares a good relationship with Raju Khan.

Looking ahead, Priyanka Chopra is preparing to return to Indian cinema with the film Varanasi, directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The film will also feature Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. She will be playing a character named Mandakini. The project is expected to release in 2027.
