But, director Dibakar Banerjee has aimed at creating magic by combining the competence of both the talents in his much-anticipated film SHANGHAI.
And the first look of the film which has both Abhay and Emraan is already creating a stir.
Abhay flaunts a serious look in a formal black blazer and Emraan draws a casual expression in the first look of SHANGHAI. PVR Pictures launched the first look of the film today on February 16, 2012.
'Shanghai' is a thriller, set against the backdrop of politics and survival.
The movie has been inspired by the movie 'Z' directed by Costa Gavras, which was released in 1969. The movie talks about the present roller-coaster expose of big-money politics and how the common man gets his revenge back.
This is the first time actors Abhay and Emraan will share the screen space in a film.
The movie also stars actress Kalki Koechlin and Bengali superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee. The movie is scheduled to release on June 8, 2012.
