While no one can dispute Emraan Hashmi‘s star status at the box office, however there seems to be a divide among Emraan’s admirers.
As the twitter trend for JANNAT 2 garners more support and amidst reports that JANNAT 2 has amassed huge collections on its day one collections at the box office, the box office observers have witnessed a certain trend in the collections.

According to a trade expert, “Emraan seems to be getting massive support from single screens. This also means that his urban audiences have given him a miss so far. While JANNAT 2 might have collected close to 9 crores on day one, but the divide between Emraan’s audiences is too big a news to be overlooked.”
While Emraan’s mentor and Bollywood veteran Mahesh Bhatt says in his latest tweet; “JANNAT 2: Strong word of mouth with appreciation for performances of Emraan and Randeep. Multiplexes shows r picking up since Friday evening”, the fact remains that somewhere Emraan has lost his urban touch.”
