Mark Wahlberg has shared a glimpse of his portrayal of the popular character Sully from the upcoming ‘Uncharted’ movie.
The 49-year-old actor recently shared a video of himself in what appears to be his Sully outfit from the film adaptation of Naughty Dog’s hit action-adventure series Uncharted.
On Saturday Oct. 24, Wahlberg uploaded a video apparently revealing his full look as Victor ‘Sully’ Sullivan with a mustache to Instagram.
“Don’t ask… don’t f**king ask!” he said in the brief video, which shows him sporting a tank and has his hair in a combed-back style.
According to reports, Sully is a prominent character from the ‘Uncharted’ game series. He is an American treasure-hunter, fortune seeker, business manager, and most importantly, a mentor to the protagonist, Nathan Drake (played by Holland).
For many Uncharted enthusiasts out there, Sully has a thick and dark mustache, and that is the trademark of his look. So when Wahlberg suddenly popped up on Instagram sporting a mustache, fans went crazy.
The video comes just days after the first official images of Tom Holland as Nathan Drake were reportedly released on social media.
Last week, the very first behind-the-scenes photo from the upcoming film adaptation of Naughty Dog’s hit action-adventure series was posted by Tom Holland on his Instagram page.
The film was delayed several times due to the spread of coronavirus earlier this year and finally went into production under the direction of Ruben Fleischer, best known for the ‘Zombieland’ franchise.
In addition to Holland and Wahlberg, the ‘Uncharted’ movie stars Antonio Banderas, Tati Gabrielle and Sophia Ali.
The film is reportedly set to hit theatres on March 5, 2021.
