Simone Ashley, known for her role in Bridgerton, has confirmed her breakup with boyfriend Tino Klein after two years of dating. During an appearance on the BBC’s Woman Hour podcast to promote her upcoming movie Picture This, Ashley shared that she is entering a “single era” as she focuses on her career and personal growth.
“It’s kind of ironic I’m promoting a rom-com,” Ashley said, referring to her role in the romantic comedy, Picture This. She added, “As of January this year, I’ve been entering my single era.” The actress explained that she is prioritizing her work and boosting her inner confidence. Reflecting on her post-Bridgerton life, Ashley shared, “It feels like a different chapter after Bridgerton’s release, where things were just so crazy.”

End of Relationship
Ashley and Klein’s relationship, which started in November 2022 after they met at the Monaco Grand Prix, came to an end quietly in 2024. Their last public appearance together was in October, when they attended an art exhibition opening by designer Marco Capalado. At the time, Ashley had expressed her happiness in a conversation with Vogue, but they had kept their romance largely private.
New Project: “Picture This”
While Ashley navigates her personal changes, her professional life continues to flourish. In Picture This, she stars alongside After actor Hero Fiennes Tiffin. The film follows Ashley’s character, Pia, who embarks on a journey to find true love over five days. However, her plans are upended when her ex shows up, complicating her path to happiness. Picture This will hit theaters on March 6.
