Arshad Warsi returns in a thriller, this time as Inspector Vishwas Bhagwat, an aging and seasoned cop who is sent to Robertsganj, Uttar Pradesh, as punishment. No sooner has he got there than he is drawn into a brutal case when a desperate father gets him to locate his missing daughter. Bhagwat enquires, and he is faced with a ghastly trend—a number of girls have gone missing under comparable conditions, which means that there is a serial killer on the loose.
Jitendra Kumar plays Sameer, a boy-next-door kind of character, and he makes his entrance in the trailer in a humorous scene, flirting with a girl. But his behavior changes when he gets arrested by Bhagwat, and his true nature begins to surface. Having played friendly common man roles in his earlier films, Kumar steps into unexplored territory with a darker and more nuanced performance.
