The drama in Bigg Boss 19 intensified as wild card entrant Malti Chahar stirred the pot with her bold statements, especially targeting contestant Tanya Mittal. In a recent promo, Malti is seen questioning the authenticity of Tanya’s on-screen persona and the stories she has shared about her life and struggles.
During a conversation, Tanya asks Malti how she’s being perceived outside the house. Malti candidly responds, “You’re always seen wearing sarees here, but your old videos are going viral. People are watching you in mini skirts.” She hints that Tanya’s carefully crafted traditional image might not align with her past, which is now under public scrutiny.
Tanya appears taken aback and asks, “Matlab meri har cheez pe research chal raha hai? (So everything about me is being researched?)” Malti responds, “If what you’re saying now contradicts your past, then it’s coming out. People are questioning your stories.”
Tanya defends herself by saying she travels to Dubai just for baklava, but Malti counters by saying others do the same without bragging. “It’s about how you come across. You said you achieved everything wearing a saree, but people have seen your mini skirt videos. Also, your business claims and your struggle stories don’t add up. You say you never stepped outside your house — so how did you struggle?” Malti challenges.
Tanya explains that her younger brother helps run her business, to which Malti bluntly asks, “Then where’s the struggle?”
The confrontation visibly upsets Tanya, who later tells fellow contestant Neelam Giri that she plans to stay quiet going forward. Malti, however, sarcastically remarks, “Chup hoti kaha ho tum? (When have you ever stayed silent?)”
Malti Chahar, actress and model, and sister of cricketer Deepak Chahar, entered the Bigg Boss 19 house as a wild card and is already shaking things up.
