Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar Continues to Impress: Crosses 200 Crore Worldwide with Strong Overseas Showings

Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar soars overseas, hitting USD 4.8M in five days and crossing Rs. 200 crore worldwide, with massive demand ahead of its second weekend.

Dhurandhar continues its remarkable run at the overseas box office, maintaining strong momentum through the weekdays. The Ranveer Singh–led spy thriller grossed approximately USD 875K on Tuesday alone, bringing its five-day overseas total to an impressive USD 4.80 million (around Rs. 43.25 crore). When combined with its domestic earnings of roughly Rs. 163 crore, the film’s worldwide box office tally has now crossed the Rs. 200 crore milestone, reaching an estimated Rs. 206 crore.

What makes Tuesday’s numbers even more notable is that they surpassed the film’s opening-day overseas collections. In terms of admissions, the jump was even more striking, likely exceeding those of both Saturday and Sunday thanks to discount-day pricing in many international markets. Since day one, Dhurandhar has faced capacity constraints, but the demand has only grown stronger. On Tuesday night, the film achieved full or near-full occupancy across multiple regions, including Australia, Canada, and the United States, with many centers reporting more than 90 percent seat utilization.

This exceptional performance has created a powerful spillover effect for the coming days. Pre-sales are extraordinarily strong across major circuits, setting the stage for a huge second weekend. Projections indicate that the film will close its first week with around USD 6.50 million overseas. At the current pace, Dhurandhar is expected to cross—or come very close to—the USD 10 million mark by the end of its second weekend. Initially, USD 10 million seemed like an optimistic final target for the film after its opening weekend, but the consistent surge in numbers suggests it will reach that milestone much sooner.

The film is now entering a phase of exponential momentum, and its full box office trajectory will only become clearer once the collections stabilize. Adding to its advantage is a lucrative holiday period at the end of the month, which is expected to further boost revenue and extend its successful run.

While domestic box office figures in India have been clouded by allegations of feeding, Dhurandhar’s overseas performance tells a different story altogether. There, the film has experienced uncontested success, backed by strong word-of-mouth, high audience appreciation, and clear signs of becoming a global phenomenon.
