Bollywood's beautiful actress Chitrangada Singh, who plays a fiery activist and popstar in BAND OF MAHARAJAS, is geared up for the movie’s second schedule in Rajasthan’s ‘green district’ Shri Ganganagar.
Directed by JAL fame award winning helmer Girish Malik, the movie is said to be a coming of age musical where a fiery activist and popstar Billo Mumtaz (Chitrangada Singh) is joined by three crazy young aspiring folk musicians from Punjab on an unusual adventure that changes their lives.
Produced by Wave Cinemas Raju Chadha, the movie next schedule commences shortly in next week in Shri Ganganagar. It is learnt that Chitrangada Singh had attended multiple workshops & learned to play various musical instruments to get into the skin of her character.
Rahul Mitra, CEO of Wave Cinemas who brought Chitrangada Singh on board for this musical believes that movies like BAND OF MAHARAJAS should be pushed as such cinema marries commercial viability and good art.
BAND OF MAHARAJAS is slated for a 2017 release.
