Janhvi Kapoor recently visited the Muppathamman temple in Chennai, a place dear to her mother, the late actress Sridevi. Sharing her experience on Instagram, Janhvi posted pictures in which she donned a floral lehenga and styled her hair in beach waves.
Her visit was a tribute to her mother’s memory and a connection to her family’s roots. In her caption, she expressed it was her first time visiting the temple, highlighting its significance as Sridevi’s favorite spot in Chennai.
In the comment section, actor Varun Dhawan humorously asked, “Masi whose actually your sister,” referring to their close bond and playful relationship. Janhvi, daughter of producer Boney Kapoor and Sridevi, has a sister named Khushi Kapoor, who recently debuted in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’.
Janhvi’s upcoming film ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’ features her alongside Rajkummar Rao, portraying a couple united by their shared passion for cricket. This year, Janhvi is also set to make her Telugu debut in ‘Devara: Chapter 1’ with Jr NTR and has other projects lined up, including ‘Ulajh’ and ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’.
