Creating a period is never easy. And for filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane it was more than difficult doing it for his filmLOOTERA, which is a period film, as 50s was an era when things changed dramatically.

So, when the lead actor of the film Ranveer Singh‘s character had to ride a scrambler it had to be an Ariel bike that stopped manufacturing bikes post 1960s.
There are about only 3/4 Ariel motorcycle in entire India. And most of them are with the connoisseurs who wouldn’t part way whatever the cost.

Ranveer Singh while shooting fell in love with the motorcycle. For it’s a delight to ride and the fact it is so rare adds to its charm.
Ranveer Singh, who personally enjoyed riding it, made a special request if he could keep the motorcyle after the shoot.
