Bollywood megastar Salman Khan marked India’s Independence Day in a moving manner by singing that all-time classic patriotic number Saare Jahan Se Accha. In a black-and-white video that he posted on his social media, Salman sang a moving version of the song and concluded it with his characteristic salaam and namaste-like folded hands. Salman wrote across the video a simple yet impactful message: “Happy Independence Day,” accompanied by a picture of the Indian tricolour.

Kabir Khan Celebrates 13 Years of Ek Tha Tiger
On Independence Day, Kabir Khan, director, commemorated 13 years since the release of his blockbuster movie Ek Tha Tiger featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. In celebration of the milestone, Kabir posted a throwback on his social media handle with some behind-the-scenes photos from the set of the movie.
Reflecting on the impact the film has had, in his caption, he wrote,
“Thirteen years ago, Ek Tha Tiger came stampeding into theaters… as the spark that lit the fire of what would turn out to be the now-iconic YRF Spyverse.” He thanked producer Aditya Chopra for believing in him with a project that was meant to reinterpret Hindi cinema with action, emotion, and worldwide appeal.
