Dwayne Johnson has revealed the potential filming start date for DC’s Black Adam.

The former WWE superstar, who joined the DC family several years ago to play Black Adam in a movie, announced on Instagram that filming for the upcoming superhero film will begin in the spring and its filming location is within the state of Georgia.

Dwayne Johnson, 48, confirmed in his post that the production for the highly anticipated film will begin in early 2021.

Dwayne Johnson is currently busy filming Netflix’s Red Notice and in the recent Instagram post from the set, he also revealed that the film is set to wrap production next month.

After that, Johnson will begin work on his upcoming semi-autobiographical NBC series ‘Young Rock’.

‘Black Adam’ was originally scheduled to release in Dec 2021, but Warner Bros. later postponed the film’s release date due to production delays following the coronavirus pandemic and has yet to announce a new release date.

The film’s release date was reportedly pushed along with other DCEU films including, The Batman, Flash and Shazam!: Fury of the Gods.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, ‘Black Adam’ features Dwayne Johnson, Noah Centineo, Aldis Hodge and Sarah Shahi in key roles.

According to reports, Warner Bros and DC have been busy filling out the cast to play the Justice Society of America, with Noah Centineo confirmed to play Atom Smasher, and Aldis Hodge portraying their leader, Hawkman.
