Vikas Sethi, a well-known actor from popular TV shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahiin To Hoga, and Sasural Simar Ka, tragically passed away in Nashik on September 8, 2024, at the age of 48. He died in his sleep following a cardiac arrest. His funeral was held in Mumbai on September 9, where numerous celebrities and family members, including actors Hiten Tejwani, Sharad Kelkar, Jaswir Kaur, and Deepak Tijori, paid their respects.
A deeply emotional moment was captured when Vikas’ mother, Surekha Sethi, broke down upon seeing his body. His wife, Jhanvi Sethi, shared that Vikas had fallen ill with vomiting and loose motions after arriving in Nashik for a family event. Despite medical attention, he passed away during the night.
Vikas Sethi was also known for his role in the 2001 film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham… and had participated in Nach Baliye 3 with his former wife, Amita. He married Jhanvi in 2018 and is survived by her and their twin sons. Jhanvi expressed immense sorrow through a statement on Instagram, thanking everyone for their prayers and support during this difficult time.
