The teaser poster of Khiladi Kumar’s highly anticipated JOLLY LLB 2 was unveiled yesterday. Akshay Kumar set the ball rolling for the upcoming film JOLLY LLB 2 by posting teaser of the courtroom dramedy with the announcement, 'Get set to meet Jolly tonight. The journey of #JollyLLB2 begins…here is the teaser poster!!'
The teaser poster revealed limitless possibilities, but the presence of the scooter grates on the nerves – Akshay Kumar has clearly put his superstar swag to a side as he can be seen riding a humble scooter in the teaser. Akshay Kumar will be playing a lawyer in this second installment of Subhash Kapoor’s JOLLY LLB.
But besides that, the poster, though very simple, gives us subtle hints right from Akki’s appearance to the set up and plot of the film.
We bring you 6 things that we could make out from the teaser posters.
• The first thing we notice in the poster is the title of the film being presented as THE STATE VS JOLLY LL.B 2, which gives us fair idea about the case that Jolly will be challenging in the court. Then your attention is caught by Jolly’s name written on the backside of his scooter, along with his qualification i.e. B.A.L.L.B. and his contact number (though only 9 digits are mentioned).
• The appearance of Akshay Kumar in the poster will immediately remind of Shah Rukh Khan’s look in RAB NE BANA DI JODI, as Akshay is seen wearing a shirt and trouser with sneakers. He is also seen carrying a sling bag like Shah Rukh did in RAB NE BANA DI JODI. His body language and expressions are pretty similar to SRK.
• From the number plate of the scooter we can make out that this time the film is set in Uttar Pradesh (UP). Whereas its prequel JOLLY LLB starring Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani was set in the capital state of Delhi.
• Going by the poster and the backdrop, it looks like the film has been shot in real locations and that is clearly evident
• The poster also has imprint of some affidavit, which generally lawyers use while appealing in favor of or against any case.
• Over all the teaser poster of JOLLY LLB 2 looks very promising and last night the official poster of the film was released where we get see our Khiladi Kumar riding the scooter and giving us a ‘Jolly Good Smile’. This time the similarity between Akshay’s and SRK’s look in RAB NE BANA DI JODI is more than evident. May be our Khiladi Kumar has taken a leaf out of SRK’s book!
With every film Akshay offers his fans something novel. Indeed, JOLLY LLB 2 teaser poster and first poster have made us all the more eager to catch the film’s first trailer now. Let’s wait with bated breath for it!
