The rumors surrounding the popular K-pop artist and 2PM rapper Ok Taecyeon have been whirling about him possibly proposing to his non-celebrity girlfriend. Recently, pictures allegedly showing Taecyeon proposing in Paris, with the iconic Eiffel Tower in the background, have popped up online. Neither artist nor agency has announced this news; however, congratulatory messages already flooded the social media sites.
The speculation began when an Instagram account, @thebestphotoparis, posted the deleted pictures of the supposed proposal. The pictures portrayed Taecyeon romantically kneeling before his girlfriend, causing fans to assume that a wedding might be underway. Although the post was taken down, the images were shared across various social media platforms quickly by fans, which caused mixed reactions, from congratulating the couple to protesting over privacy invasion. The person commented, “Please delete the photos. Even the original post was deleted also.” Another reacted, “Happy for him. We should be private though for him.”
Years ago, in 2020, Taecyeon also confirmed his relationship when he made a direct call on Instagram on the rumors involving him. All these years, the couple would often be caught strolling here and there including a walk up Sinsa-dong in Gangnam just last December were seen walking together arm-in-arm.
Apart from being an important member of 2PM since 2008, Taecyeon has gained a name for acting. He played the role of a character in the dramas Who Are You?, Bring It On, Ghost, and Secret Royal Inspector & Joy. Nonetheless, it is the antagonist he portrayed in *Vincenzo* that received widespread recognition.
Coming soon, Taecyeon stars in the historical romance drama, The Fight Night With The Duke starring alongside Seohyun. They all eagerly anticipate the official release of the rumor regarding his proposal while still celebrating his journey professionally and personally.
