Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao is currently busy promoting their upcoming film, Mr. and Mrs. Mahi. The two stars were recently spotted in Varanasi, where they not only promoted the film but also attended the Ganga aarti.
Janhvi was seen wearing a saree, while Rajkummar rocks a casual ensemble. The first frame shows them both looking at each other while flower petals are showered on them. In the next image, they are standing on a bridge, with Janhvi’s head resting on Rajkummar’s shoulder. The last slide captures them holding the aarti thali in their hands.
Aditi Rao Hydari captivated the internet with ‘gajagamini’ walk in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama. Her seductive walk left a mark on viewers’ hearts.
Gajagamini in Sanskrit is one with the gait of an elephant. The walk is therefore said to be graceful, dignified, and perhaps a slightly regal walk, akin to the majestic gait of an elephant. It might symbolize strength, grace, and femininity.
Janhvi recently shared a video on Instagram and captioned, “Our very own gajagamini walk took a minute to get used to all those cricket pads but glad I could amuse u Mr. Mahi”
In the video, Janhvi has her cricket pads on and is ready to bat. Rajkummar, who is bowling, mimics Janhvi’s walk with the pads on. As he walks back to the crease, he does an awkward walk, oddly reminiscent of Aditi’s viral Gajagamini walk in Heeramandi.’
Netflix India commented on the video saying, “Aaj kal har Rajkummar Bibbojaan ka fan hai’
Mr and Mrs Mahi is directed by Sharan Sharma, who is known for his directorial debut Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. Mr & Mrs Mahi marks the second collaboration between Janhvi and Sharan. It also marks the second collobaration between Janhvi and Rajkummar. It will hit the theatres on May 31.
