The prediction was that it was going to be a close election and that instead Donald Trump is on the verge of a cataclysmic victory. Republicans turned all seven battlegrounds in their favor—even more impressive for Republicans given Democrats had won 6-1 in the 2020 election.

Trump refers to 315 electoral votes score that Democrats are facing now.
Even more notable about the Republican victory–the Republican party has also gained the Senate and are ahead in the election for the House of Representatives.
Trump used his victory speech to thank all of the supporters followed by his running mate JD Vance, wife Melanie Trump and his children for their support in a tough campaign. Former President Donald Trump also mentioned Tesla CEO and X director Elon Musk in his speech given to reporters, who has lately been expressing his enthusiasm for Trump.
