Ibrahim Ali Khan, the latest sensation in Bollywood, is generating significant buzz even before his debut. The young Pataudi is already flooded with numerous offers and has an exciting lineup of films. He is set to make his acting debut with Dharma Productions’ “Sarzameen,” co-starring Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran. According to a report by Hindustan Times, Ibrahim has been cast in Kunal Deshmukh’s sports drama, for which he started shooting last year.
Now, there’s a fresh update on the project. According to Box Office Worldwide’s latest report, Sreeleela is in talks to make her Bollywood debut in the untitled film, reportedly titled “Diler.” An official announcement of the film is awaited.
Sreeleela is an American actress of Indian origin who predominantly works in Telugu and Kannada cinema. She played a leading role in the Kannada film “Kiss” and made her mark in Tollywood with films like “Pelli SandaD” (2021) and “Dhamaka” (2022). Sreeleela’s dance number from Mahesh Babu’s “Guntur Kaaram” became a sensation.
Ibrahim, the son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, previously worked as an assistant director on Karan Johar’s romantic drama “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” which starred Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh, and Alia Bhatt. The film was released in 2023. Ibrahim’s sister, Sara Ali Khan, is already a renowned actress in Bollywood.
After “Sarzameen,” Ibrahim will appear in “Nadaniyan” with Khushi Kapoor. Reports suggest that this romantic film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
With Sreeleela potentially joining Ibrahim in “Diler,” the film promises to be a significant launchpad for both actors in Bollywood. Fans eagerly await the official announcement to see these rising stars in action.
