South Korean actor Park Min Jae has died of cardiac arrest at the age of 32. He was well known for his appearances in several popular K-dramas such as Little Women with Kim Go Eun. His agency, Big Title, announced on December 2 that the cause of death was due to cardiac arrest while on a trip to China on November 29, 2024.
Agency and Family Statements
Park Min Jae’s agency shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, posting a picture of the actor along with the caption:
“Park Min Jae, a talented actor who loved acting and always gave his best, has departed for heaven.”
The agency’s CEO, Hwang Ju Hye, expressed profound sorrow, saying:
It was so sudden and so shocking…. The family must be feeling unthinkable sorrow…. Min Jae, there was still so much more to say and do together. It was my honor to represent you, even for so little time, and I’m deeply sorry. Never to forget the name: Actor Park Min Jae.”.
Park Min Jae’s younger brother also took to his Instagram account to pay his respects to the deceased:
“My beloved brother has gone to rest. I hope as many people as possible will remember my brother. Please understand that I cannot contact everyone individually.”
Funeral Information
The memorial ceremony for the actor is going to take place at Seoul National University Hospital Funeral Hall. The ceremony is planned for December 4, 2024.
