The five-track EP was released on Friday and marks BLACKPINK’s first multi-track project in more than three years. The release holds special significance as it coincides with the group’s 10th anniversary, making it a milestone moment for both the members and their global fanbase. Known for their record-breaking achievements and international influence, BLACKPINK’s comeback has quickly become one of the most talked-about events in the music world.

The EP includes five songs and features the previously released single Jump, which has already become a summer hit among fans. The album is headlined by the energetic anthem Go, a powerful three-minute track that captures the group’s signature confidence and bold musical style. With its dynamic sound and strong vocals, the song reflects the group’s continued evolution while staying true to the style that made them global superstars.

While promoting her new K-drama Boyfriend on Demand, Jisoo spoke about the emotional significance of the album during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. She shared that the release feels particularly meaningful because it coincides with a major milestone in the group’s journey. “BLACKPINK’s 10th anniversary is this year,” she said. Jisoo added that the group is thrilled to celebrate this moment by sharing new music with fans around the world. According to her, the members believe the new songs will resonate strongly with listeners and reflect their growth as artists over the past decade.

The 31-year-old singer and actress recently completed BLACKPINK’s Deadline world tour, which brought the group back to stages across the globe and reunited them with millions of fans. After wrapping up the tour, Jisoo has now shifted her focus toward her acting career, returning to television with a new romantic comedy series.

In the upcoming Netflix series Boyfriend on Demand, Jisoo takes on the role of Seo Mi-rae, a hardworking webtoon producer who feels overwhelmed by the pressures of her daily life. Seeking an escape from her demanding routine, Mi-rae turns to a subscription-based virtual dating simulation program that allows users to experience ideal romantic scenarios in a digital world. Through this futuristic platform, her character explores the possibility of love in a way that feels both exciting and emotionally transformative.

Reflecting on the experience of playing Mi-rae, Jisoo explained that the role allowed her to explore multiple sides of her personality as an actress. She shared that portraying the character helped her express a wider range of emotions and perspectives on screen. The singer also expressed confidence that BLACKPINK fans, known as “Blinks,” will enjoy seeing her in this new role. Blinks, the group’s dedicated global fanbase, have consistently supported the members not only in their music careers but also in their individual projects.

The series blends elements of workplace drama with a futuristic concept centered on virtual reality dating. Actor Seo In-guk stars alongside Jisoo as Park Kyeong-nam, Mi-rae’s colleague and professional rival in the webtoon industry. Their on-screen relationship adds another layer to the story as the characters navigate competition, ambition and the possibility of romance.

In recent years, BLACKPINK members Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa and Rosé have focused on expanding their individual careers while continuing to support the group’s legacy. Each member has pursued solo music projects, acting opportunities and global brand collaborations. Jisoo herself released her solo album Amortage in February 2025 and followed it with a successful solo Asia tour. She also appeared in the series Newtopia, further strengthening her presence in the entertainment industry beyond music.

Now, with the release of Deadline, BLACKPINK is once again united as a group, celebrating ten years of global success and artistic growth. The album represents not only a musical comeback but also a symbolic moment for the quartet as they look back on a decade of achievements while continuing to shape the future of K-pop.

With new music, exciting acting projects and a decade-long legacy behind them, Jisoo and the rest of BLACKPINK are entering a new chapter that fans around the world are eager to experience.

Govinda Reveals Shocking ‘Partner’ Secret: Says He Inspired Salman Khan’s Transformation Before the Film

0

The 2007 comedy film Partner remains one of Bollywood’s most beloved entertainers even years after its release. Featuring a dynamic on-screen pairing between Salman Khan and Govinda, the film delivered a perfect mix of humor, romance, and energetic performances that audiences continue to enjoy today. Directed by David Dhawan, the movie also starred Katrina Kaif and Lara Dutta in prominent roles. The film became a major box-office success and is still remembered for its hilarious moments and the fantastic chemistry between its lead actors. Interestingly, despite both Salman Khan and Govinda frequently working with director David Dhawan in the past, Partner marked the first time the two actors shared screen space together.

The film also played a significant role in bringing Govinda back into the spotlight after a period when his career had slowed down. At the time, many reports suggested that Salman Khan had played a key role in reviving Govinda’s career by helping him secure the role in Partner. However, in a recent interview, Govinda offered a different perspective and revealed an untold story about how the film actually came together. Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, the actor revisited memories from the Partner era and shared details that fans had never heard before.

During the conversation, Govinda explained that he was deeply involved in discussions about the film during its early stages. He recalled meeting director David Dhawan along with Sohail Khan, who was producing the project at the time. According to Govinda, he suggested that Salman Khan should play the lead role in the film. More importantly, he proposed a significant transformation in Salman’s personality and screen image for the movie. Govinda believed that presenting Salman in a fresh and different avatar would add a unique appeal to the film and make the character more engaging for audiences.

Govinda explained that his idea was to reinvent Salman’s on-screen presence. He shared that the Salman audiences had seen earlier would appear very different from the version they would see in Partner. The veteran actor recalled telling the team that they should present “a new Salman” to viewers — someone who looked more energetic, confident, and stylish. According to him, the idea was to reshape Salman’s personality and visual appeal in a way that would make the character stand out. The team decided to experiment with this concept, and eventually it became a defining element of Salman’s appearance in the film.

While reflecting on his relationship with Salman Khan, Govinda described the superstar as a sincere and hardworking individual. He revealed that Salman had asked him for advice on how to improve his look and performance for the role. Govinda said he candidly shared his observations and suggested that Salman should work on improving his physical fitness and overall appearance. He reportedly told Salman that his face seemed tired, his body needed better preparation, and that he should also pay attention to his hair and grooming. Govinda admitted that he rarely drinks, but during a casual moment while having a drink, he spoke honestly about these suggestions.

According to Govinda, Salman took the advice seriously. After their conversation, the actor reportedly underwent certain treatments and began focusing more intensely on his fitness routine. He started exercising regularly and worked toward achieving a more polished look for the film. Govinda believes that this transformation became noticeable after Partner and marked a shift in Salman’s physical appearance and style on screen. The veteran actor concluded by saying that Salman looked significantly different after the film compared to how he appeared earlier in his career.

Over the years, Partner has remained a memorable film for fans of Bollywood comedy, largely because of the entertaining partnership between Salman Khan and Govinda. The film’s comic timing, catchy music, and engaging performances continue to attract viewers even today. Govinda’s recent revelations about the behind-the-scenes discussions have added a new layer of intrigue to the story of how the film was made. For fans who have long admired the chemistry between the two actors, these insights offer a fascinating glimpse into the creative process that helped shape one of Bollywood’s most loved comedy films.

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Christian Bale Reunite Nearly Two Decades After The Dark Knight for The Bride!

0

Actors Maggie Gyllenhaal and Christian Bale have reunited nearly two decades after sharing the screen in the 2008 superhero film The Dark Knight. However, their latest collaboration marks a significant shift in their professional dynamic. While they previously worked together as co-stars, their new project places Gyllenhaal in the director’s chair and Bale in a demanding lead role. The duo has come together for The Bride!, a fresh cinematic interpretation inspired by the classic horror story The Bride of Frankenstein.

The film marks Maggie Gyllenhaal’s second project as a director following the success of her 2021 debut, The Lost Daughter. That film received widespread critical acclaim and established her as a filmmaker with a strong creative voice. With The Bride!, Gyllenhaal continues to explore bold storytelling choices while reimagining a familiar horror narrative through a modern and emotionally layered perspective.

In the new film, Christian Bale takes on the role of Frankenstein’s creature, referred to as Frank. The story pairs him with actress Jessie Buckley, who portrays the monster bride. The film aims to reinterpret the iconic horror characters by giving them emotional depth and complexity beyond the traditional portrayal of monsters in classic literature and cinema.

Reflecting on working with Bale again after so many years, Gyllenhaal explained that their collaboration this time felt very different from their experience while filming The Dark Knight. In the Christopher Nolan-directed superhero film, Gyllenhaal played Gotham City District Attorney Rachel Dawes, while Bale starred as Bruce Wayne, also known as Batman. Although they appeared together in several scenes, the nature of that project did not require the same level of emotional exploration and collaboration that their new film demands.

Gyllenhaal explained that she always enjoyed working with Bale and had positive memories of filming The Dark Knight. However, she noted that the relationship between director and actor requires a far deeper creative connection compared to that of co-stars sharing scenes. According to her, the creative discussions required for The Bride! began immediately when she first contacted Bale to offer him the role.

She described the phone call as the start of an entirely new professional relationship. After such a long gap since their last collaboration, the two quickly found themselves diving into deeper conversations about the character, the emotional tone of the story and the complex themes surrounding Frank’s personality and motivations.

Gyllenhaal emphasized that her interpretation of Frankenstein’s creature is far more layered than the traditional image of a violent monster. In her vision, Frank embodies a wide range of emotions and qualities. While he does display rage and destructive behaviour at times, he is also intelligent, humorous, vulnerable and deeply lonely. According to the director, portraying such a multifaceted character required an actor capable of expressing all those emotions authentically, which made Bale an ideal choice for the role.

Christian Bale also spoke about working with Gyllenhaal again while attending the premiere of the film in New York City. The actor explained that despite their long history, the demanding pace of filmmaking left little opportunity for nostalgia on set. Bale noted that film sets are often far more intense and busy than people imagine, with actors and directors constantly focused on their responsibilities.

He explained that directors in particular have very little downtime during production, which meant their conversations were largely centred around the film itself rather than reminiscing about their earlier collaboration. According to Bale, both he and Gyllenhaal were focused on fully immersing themselves in the creative process required to bring the new story to life.

Apart from Bale and Jessie Buckley, The Bride! features a strong supporting cast that includes Penélope Cruz, Julianne Hough, John Magaro and Annette Bening. Each of the actors contributes to the film’s reimagined take on the classic Frankenstein narrative.

With its unique reinterpretation of familiar characters and the reunion of two celebrated performers in new roles, The Bride! promises to offer audiences a fresh perspective on a timeless horror story. The film officially released in theatres on March 6, introducing viewers to Maggie Gyllenhaal’s distinctive vision and a compelling new portrayal of Frankenstein’s legendary monster.

There is a bridge that leads to troubled water
If you know, then you know
If you don’t, then you don’t, that’s heavenly
From your head to your toes
Saw the light in the gold that you discovered

Through your eyes, in awe, melodies like the tide
It’s all waiting there for you
It’s all waiting there for you
Can you hear that voice
Delivering the news?
It’s all waiting there for you

Ignorance or innocence
Call it what you wanna
You’ve been a baby sleeping upon a candy bar
Till your eyes open on the changing summer light

It’s all waiting there for you
Can you hear that voice
Delivering the news?
It’s all waiting there for you
It’s all waiting there for you
Call it what you wanna

I know what you like, I know what you’ll really like
I know what you like, you can hear it anytime
I know what you like, I know what you’ll really like
I know what you like, I don’t have to read your mind
I know what you like, I know what you’ll really like
I know what you like, you can hear it anytime
I know what you like, I know what you’ll really like
I know what you like, I don’t have to read your mind
I know what you like, I know what you’ll really like
I know what you like, you can hear it anytime

It’s all waiting there for you
It’s all waiting there for you

I know what you like, I know what you’ll really like
I know what you like, I don’t have to read your mind
(I don’t have to read your mind)
I know what you like, I know what you’ll really like
I know what you like, you can hear it anytime
I know what you like, I know what you’ll really like
I know what you like, I don’t have to read your mind (It’s all waiting there for you)

Not quite “here we go again”
But, how’ve you been?
Always been a consequence when you call me baby
You on white, so sweet and sour
Just like old times
Dinners with your high school friends and your favourite pastries

Must be lonely out in Paris if you talk like that
It was tough with the time, but you called me back
And you know that you can tell me, I can take that
Did you get your taste back? Or do you just need a little love?
You just need a little love, you just need a little love
You just need a little love, need a little love
So you
Did you get your taste back? Or do you just need a little lovе?

Talk in tongues, no common sense
Likе two old friends
Where’d you find the confidence to call me baby? (It’s all you)
Is this you settling in? You drinking again (It’s all you)
Handling it like a European (It’s all you)
Is this you settling in? You starting again? (It’s all you)
Handling it?

Must be lonely out in Paris if you talk like that
It was tough with the time, did you come back?
And you know that you can tell me, I can take that
Did you get your taste back? Or do you just need a little love?
You just need a little love, you just need a little love
You just need a little love, need a little love
So you
Did you get your taste back? Or do you just need a little love?

Did you—? Did you—?
Did you—? Did you—?
(You, it’s all you) Did you—? Did you—?
(You, it’s all you) Did you—? Did you—?

Must be lonely out in Paris if you talk like that
It was tough with the time, did you come back?
And you know that you can tell me, I can take that
Did you get your taste back? Or do you just need a little love?
You just need a little love, you just need a little love
You just need a little love, need a little love
So you
Did you get your taste back? Or do you just need a little love?

Aren’t you for sale if you’re cashin’ in cold?
You’ve got to sit yourself down sometimes
It’s hard to tell when the thoughts are my own
And the old hat gets harder to hold

Uh-huh, uh-huh, huh
Uh-huh, uh-huh, huh
Uh-huh, uh-huh, huh
You’ve got to sit yourself down sometimes

Holding, holding out
Hoping you will love me now
Holding, holding out
Hoping you will love me now
Do you love me now? Do you? Do you?
Do I let you down?
Holding, holding out
Hoping love will come around

It’s kind of sad but there’s something I know
Too many things for you to analyze
You’re steaming in, swinging with your eyes closed
Let light come in once in a while

Uh-huh, uh-huh, huh
You’ve got to sit yourself down somеtimes

Holding, holding out
Hoping you will love me now
Holding, holding out
Hoping you will lovе me now
Do you love me now? Do you? Do you?
Do I let you down?
Holding, holding out
Hoping love will come around

You could’ve been here in my arms
But we’re nothing at all
You want a piece or nothing at all
Do you love me now? (Love me now)
Do you love me now? (Love me now)
Do you love me now? (Love me now)
You’ve got to sit yourself down sometimes

Holding, holding out
Hoping you will love me now
Holding, holding out
Hoping you will love me now
Love me now (Do you love me now? Do you?)
Love me now (Do you?)
Do I let you down?
Holding, holding out
Hoping love will come around

You could’ve been here in my arms
You want a piece or nothing at all

Jimin Breaks the Internet With a Simple Profile Picture Change Ahead of BTS Comeback

0

The countdown to the long-awaited return of the global K-pop sensation BTS has officially begun. After years of anticipation from fans around the world, the group is preparing to release their upcoming album Arirang on March 20. As excitement surrounding the comeback continues to build, one of the group’s most popular members, Park Jimin, recently captured the spotlight with a subtle yet impactful social media update that quickly sparked a wave of reactions across the internet.

The 30-year-old singer, dancer, and songwriter surprised fans by changing his Instagram profile picture for the first time in years. The new image is a striking black-and-white portrait featuring Jimin dressed in a classic black tuxedo while showcasing his blonde hair. The sophisticated look immediately caught the attention of fans, many of whom praised the idol’s timeless style and striking visuals. Within hours of the update, screenshots of the new profile picture began circulating widely across social media platforms, with fans sharing their excitement and admiration.

This profile picture update comes months after Jimin quietly reorganized his Instagram account by deleting most of his earlier posts. At present, his account contains only six posts, with the most recent upload appearing in February when he attended a show for the luxury fashion house Dior. The sudden transformation of his profile has generated widespread curiosity among fans, who are closely analyzing every detail in anticipation of the group’s upcoming musical era.

Fans, often referred to collectively as the BTS ARMY, quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their reactions to Jimin’s new look. Many praised his appearance, with comments highlighting his visuals and stage presence. Some fans described him as “the most beautiful and stunning man,” while others admired the elegant aura conveyed by the monochrome portrait. The overwhelming response once again demonstrated the immense global influence the BTS members continue to hold, even through the smallest social media updates.

Another wave of discussion among fans revolves around speculation that the new profile picture might be linked to concept images for the upcoming BTS album “Arirang.” Some followers believe the portrait could be part of the visual concept for the group’s next musical chapter. Although there has been no official confirmation regarding this theory, the possibility has only fueled further excitement as fans eagerly await more hints about the album’s artistic direction.

Previously, Jimin had used an image related to his debut solo album Face as his profile picture. Released in 2023, the album marked a significant milestone in his solo career and was launched only months before he began his mandatory military service in South Korea. That profile image featured a dramatic monochrome portrait of the singer with his eyes closed and visible facial piercings, including one on his lips, reflecting the intense and introspective tone of the project.

Following his discharge from the military, Jimin returned to entertainment activities and reunited with fellow BTS member Jungkook for the second season of the travel reality show Are You Sure?. The new season, which premiered on December 3, 2025, documented the duo spending 12 days traveling through scenic locations in Switzerland and Vietnam, giving fans a glimpse into their friendship and off-stage personalities.

Now, Jimin and the rest of BTS — including RM, Jin, J-Hope, Suga, V, and Jungkook — are preparing for a major return to the global music scene. Along with the release of their album “Arirang,” the group will host a special live concert event in Seoul titled BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG to celebrate the launch. Fans can also look forward to a documentary titled BTS: THE RETURN, which will offer behind-the-scenes insights into the group’s reunion and creative process.

Following these major events, BTS is expected to embark on a highly anticipated world tour beginning in April, marking their first global tour since completing military duties. With the comeback only days away, even the smallest updates — such as Jimin’s new profile picture — are enough to send waves of excitement through the BTS fan community worldwide.

Kiara Advani Not Playing Madhubala? Industry Sources Shut Down Viral Biopic Rumours

0

Actor Kiara Advani recently found herself at the centre of speculation after reports surfaced claiming that she had been cast to play legendary actor Madhubala in a biographical film reportedly backed by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The rumours quickly spread across social media and entertainment news platforms, drawing attention from fans of both the contemporary star and the iconic figure from Indian cinema’s golden era. However, recent updates from industry sources have clarified that the claims linking Kiara Advani to a Madhubala biopic are inaccurate.

According to people familiar with the matter, there is currently no such project in development involving Kiara Advani in the role of Madhubala. Sources have dismissed the circulating reports as baseless and speculative. One industry insider reportedly stated that the rumours have no factual basis and that Kiara has not been approached for any biographical project related to the legendary actor. The clarification comes after widespread curiosity about the possibility of a modern Bollywood star portraying one of the most celebrated figures in the history of Indian cinema.

The speculation initially gained traction because of Madhubala’s enduring legacy and the frequent discussions about potential films exploring her life story. Madhubala remains one of the most iconic actresses in Hindi cinema, remembered for her performances in classic films and her distinctive screen presence. Over the years, several filmmakers and production houses have been linked to potential projects based on her life, though few have progressed beyond the early stages of discussion. As a result, any report suggesting a new biopic often attracts significant attention from audiences and industry observers.

Despite the recent rumours, sources have reiterated that no such casting decision involving Kiara Advani has been made. They have also indicated that the claims connecting Sanjay Leela Bhansali to the project in this context are unfounded. The reports appear to have emerged without confirmation from the actor, the filmmaker or any official production announcement. For now, the supposed Madhubala biopic remains purely speculative, and there is no verified information suggesting that such a film is currently in active development.

While the rumours about the biopic have been addressed, Kiara Advani is preparing for the release of her upcoming project Toxic, which also stars actor Yash. The film has been generating considerable interest among audiences due to its scale and the involvement of several well-known creative collaborators. However, recent developments related to the film’s promotional schedule and release date have led to changes in its rollout plans.

The makers had originally planned to launch the trailer for Toxic at a special event in Bengaluru on March 8. This event was expected to be a major promotional milestone for the film ahead of its theatrical release. However, the trailer launch has now been cancelled following a decision by the producers to postpone the film’s release. In an official statement, the production team informed media representatives that the event would not take place as originally scheduled because the release date had been moved.

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups was initially set to premiere worldwide on March 19, 2026. The film’s producers, KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, have now rescheduled its release to June 4, 2026. According to the statement issued by the makers, the delay was implemented due to the ongoing geopolitical tensions and regional instability affecting parts of the Middle East. The Gulf region represents an important international market for many Indian films, and the current situation has reportedly disrupted cinema operations in several territories.

The decision to postpone the film’s release was also influenced by recommendations from one of its major distributors, Phars Films. Given the scale of the project and its planned multi-language global rollout, the producers chose to adjust the release schedule in order to ensure smoother distribution in key markets. By shifting the release to June, the film is expected to reach audiences under more stable circumstances.

Another outcome of the new release date is that Toxic will no longer clash with Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film Dhurandhar 2, which is scheduled to release in March. Avoiding this box office clash may allow both films to perform independently during their respective release windows.

For now, Kiara Advani’s immediate focus remains on her upcoming projects rather than the rumours surrounding the Madhubala biopic. As industry sources have clarified, the reports linking her to the legendary actor’s life story are currently unfounded, while her next on-screen appearance will come with the release of Toxic later this year.

Mona Singh Opens Up About Patriarchy in Entertainment While Promoting Kohrra Season 2

0

Actor Mona Singh is currently enjoying a successful phase in her career with three major projects releasing within a short period. Her recent work includes the film Happy Patel Ek Khatarnak Jasoos, the war drama Border 2, and the much-anticipated crime series Kohrra Season 2. While each project belongs to a completely different genre and explores unique themes, the crime thriller has especially attracted attention for its strong social commentary. The series goes beyond a simple investigation narrative and addresses deeper issues such as patriarchy, gender imbalance and the challenges women face in male-dominated systems.

According to Mona Singh, the themes explored in Kohrra Season 2 closely reflect real-life situations that many women encounter, including those working in the entertainment industry. She believes that despite progress in many areas, several professional spaces are still shaped by strong male camaraderie, which can sometimes leave women feeling like outsiders. Speaking about the issue, Mona pointed out that the mindset is deeply rooted in society and not limited to one specific profession. She explained that in many traditionally masculine environments, there is often what she describes as a “brotherhood culture” where men bond closely with each other, making it difficult for women to feel equally included or respected.

Mona also shared that even though she has reached a stage in her career where she has the authority to make important professional decisions, she still observes situations where men appear uncomfortable taking instructions from a woman. She explained that such reactions are visible in many everyday interactions. For instance, she mentioned instances where male drivers or employees struggle with the idea of working under a female boss. According to her, this subtle resistance reflects an ego issue that still exists in many parts of society where leadership by women is not always easily accepted.

The actor further noted that similar attitudes are often visible within households as well. She explained that in many families, decision-making is still dominated by men, while women are frequently sidelined or excluded from discussions that affect them. Mona recalled witnessing situations where domestic staff or other family members automatically assume that the male members of the household hold the authority, even when the woman of the house should logically be part of the decision-making process. These observations, she said, highlight how deeply ingrained these gender roles are in everyday life.

Reflecting on these experiences, Mona added that the storytelling in Kohrra Season 2 deliberately captures these realities. The show portrays situations where women are often informed about decisions rather than being asked for their opinion. She emphasized that the series presents these moments in a raw and realistic way, making the narrative feel authentic and relatable. According to Mona, this honesty in storytelling is what allows the series to resonate strongly with audiences.

In the second season of Kohrra, Mona Singh plays a senior police officer who supervises the character portrayed by Barun Sobti. The storyline not only revolves around a complex investigation but also explores the shifting dynamics that arise when a male officer reports to a female superior. Through this relationship, the series examines how authority and respect are negotiated in a system that has historically been male-dominated.

Speaking about the role, Mona explained that portraying a woman police officer in such an environment comes with its own set of challenges. She noted that women in positions of power often feel a constant need to prove their competence and capabilities. From physical expectations to leadership abilities, women frequently face doubts that their male counterparts do not encounter in the same way.

Her co-star Barun Sobti also acknowledged this reality, agreeing that many men struggle to accept women who hold strong positions of authority. He admitted that the discomfort some men feel when dealing with powerful women is a real and visible issue in society.

Kohrra Season 2, created by Gunjit Chopra, Diggi Sisodia and Sudip Sharma, premiered on Netflix on February 11. Set once again in the gritty and atmospheric backdrop of Punjab, the new season introduces a fresh mystery while expanding the show’s emotional and social layers. Alongside Mona Singh and Barun Sobti, the series also features Rannvijay Singha, Pooja Bhamrrah, Anurag Arora and Prayrak Mehta in important roles. With its blend of suspenseful storytelling and socially relevant themes, the series continues to explore the complexities of power, gender and justice in contemporary society.
