Bollywood actress and politician Hema Malini sent fans into an emotional overdrive when she posted a set of unseen pictures of her late husband and legendary actor Dharmendra, who breathed his last on November 24. The rare photographs that the Dream Girl shared on her social media handle were termed “memorable” by her as they still bring tears to her eyes. In an open note, she fondly referred to Dharmendra as her “everything.”

In a long post shared on X, Hema Malini reflected on their life together, describing Dharmendra as much more than a celebrated star. “He was many things to me – loving husband, adoring father to our daughters Esha and Ahaana, friend, philosopher, guide, poet, and my ‘go-to’ person in every moment of need. He was everything to me, through good times and bad,” she wrote. She recalled how Dharmendra endeared himself to her family with his warmth and humility, and how his stardom never overshadowed his grounded nature. Calling his legacy “unequalled”, she expressed that the void left by his passing is immeasurable and will remain with her forever.

Hema also reminisced about their journey in cinema, having worked together in several hits to their credit, such as Sharafat, Seeta Aur Geeta, Jugnu, Pratigya, Sholay, and lots more, cementing their status as one of Bollywood’s most loved on-screen pairs. Despite rumors and opposition from their family during the early days of their relationship, time only strengthened their bond.

The family has said that Dharmendra’s prayer meet is scheduled to be held on November 27 at a Mumbai hotel from 5 pm to 7:30 pm. An old photograph of the star features on the event poster, which reads, “Celebration of Life.” Dharmendra had been admitted to the hospital recently after health complications arose and was on ventilator support prior to his death. His last rites were performed the same day, attended by many Bollywood legends like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan.

Dharmendra was last seen in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ and ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’. He will appear posthumously in Sriram Raghavan’s ‘Ikkis’, releasing on December 25, 2025.

Filmmaker and actor Farhan Akhtar has confirmed that Don 3, fronted by Ranveer Singh, will start rolling next year, thus bringing months of speculation surrounding the project to rest. In a recent interaction with Filmfare, Farhan mentioned, “We start filming next year. That’s probably the biggest update that I can give you.” His confirmation has brought back excitement around the much-anticipated third installment of the iconic Don franchise.

Farhan spoke about the status of Don 3 as he promoted his most recent release, 120 Bahadur, which hit theaters on November 21. The war drama, inspired by Major Shaitan Singh Bhati and the 1962 Indo-China War, has won him tremendous accolades. Just hours after being questioned by the Anti‑Narcotics Cell of the Mumbai Police in connection with a ₹252-crore drugs case, social media influencer Orhan “Orry” Awatramani released a bold video that has sparked fresh controversy. Overlaid text reads “I am a liver”, and Orry captioned the post simply: “Just let me live.” In the video, he is dressed in a shimmering sheer black mesh top and moves energetically to the beat of “Aaj Ki Raat” from Don – The Chase Begins Again. At various moments he leaps, waves his hands, mouths along to the lyrics — embodying carefree energy. At one point, he flips the bird directly at the camera. While he did not mention the investigation in his post, many social-media users drew an immediate connection.

Comments ranged from “Posting this mid-questioning break” to “Pov: people hating on me while I’m at a party doing this.” Earlier on Wednesday, Orry had appeared at the Ghatkopar ANC office to record his statement. He was questioned for more than 7 hours in relation to a massive mephedrone seizure. The drugs case — which dates to a March 2024 bust in Sangli district — involved the seizure of over 126 kg of mephedrone, valued at ₹252 crore.

Orry’s name came up during interrogation of one of the accused in the case, Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh (also known as “Lavish”), who claimed to have organised large drug-fuelled parties in India and abroad. According to police documents, those parties allegedly included a number of well-known personalities, including celebrities and influencers. During questioning, sources say Orry denied any wrongdoing.

He told investigators he neither consumes drugs nor has knowledge of any drug use at the parties he attends, claiming that he is often invited only to “click photos with celebrities.” He denied knowing the key accused, including another named person, Alishah Parkar. He said he earns his living through Instagram promotions and a design-related job at a telecom company.

As he emerged from the ANC office, Orry was mobbed by paparazzi and onlookers in a frenzy that was widely shared online.

Palash’s mother, Amita Muchhal, shared that her son was the first to insist on postponing the ceremony. She revealed that Palash shares a deep emotional bond with Smriti’s father—one she described as even closer than the couple’s own relationship. Following the haldi ceremony, Palash reportedly became overwhelmed and broke down, which triggered a stressful episode that required hospitalisation and medical tests, including an ECG and IV fluids. Though his reports are normal, doctors have advised him rest due to elevated stress.

Meanwhile, unverified online rumours have accused Palash of cheating, fuelled by alleged screenshots circulating on Reddit and Instagram. The images show flirty messages exchanged with a woman named Mary D’Costa; however, their authenticity remains unconfirmed, and neither Smriti nor Palash has commented on them.
