Prince Harry Says He Never Wanted Royal Life After Princess Diana’s Death

0

Prince Harry is once again speaking candidly about his relationship with royal life, revealing that he never wanted to be a working royal following the tragic death of his mother, Princess Diana. While attending an event in Melbourne during his Australia tour with Meghan Markle, Harry shared that Diana’s death in 1997 had a profound impact on how he viewed his future within the royal family. He admitted that as a young teenager, he felt strongly that he did not want the life that lay ahead of him, especially given the intense media scrutiny surrounding his mother’s passing.

Harry described feeling lost and powerless for years, explaining that he initially followed expectations placed on him before eventually realizing he could choose a different path. That realization ultimately led to him stepping away from royal duties and redefining his role on his own terms.

He and Meghan famously stepped back as senior members of the British royal family in 2020, later relocating to the United States. Since then, the couple has focused on independent projects, advocacy work, and sharing their experiences publicly through projects like the Harry & Meghan and Harry’s memoir Spare.

During the same visit, Meghan also spoke about her experiences with online harassment, describing years of intense public scrutiny while maintaining that she has remained resilient through it all.

Harry’s latest comments further underline the ongoing distance between him and the royal institution, while also reinforcing his long-standing stance on the pressures and realities of life in the public eye.

Lindsay Lohan’s Stepmom Arrested After Alleged Attack on Michael Lohan

0

Kate Major, the stepmother of Lindsay Lohan, has been arrested after an alleged violent altercation with her estranged husband Michael Lohan. According to court records, Kate was taken into custody in Texas and charged with assaulting a family or household member, with a prior conviction already on her record. She was booked into jail with a bond set at $35,000. The incident reportedly took place at Michael’s residence during what was supposed to be a routine exchange involving their children.

But things escalated fast.

Sources claim Kate became aggressive after being woken up, leading to a physical confrontation. She allegedly punched Michael multiple times, leaving him with a bloody nose. At one point, she is also accused of throwing a knife at him. Reports state the knife struck his chest but did not cause injury after bouncing off.

Police arrived shortly after and detained her at the scene.

Court documents further indicate that Kate was intoxicated at the time of the incident. As part of her release conditions, she will now be required to undergo mandatory alcohol testing. She has also been ordered to have no contact with Michael moving forward.

This isn’t the first time the situation between the two has turned violent.

Kate was previously convicted in 2024 for assaulting a family member. On the other side, Michael himself was arrested in 2025 on charges related to alleged domestic violence involving Kate.

Their relationship has been turbulent for years, marked by repeated legal issues and public disputes. At this stage, the case is ongoing, and these are allegations based on reports and court filings.  But one thing is clear. This isn’t just another celebrity headline. It’s a pattern that keeps repeating, and it’s getting harder to ignore.

Ayushmann Khurrana turns Spy in Udta Teer

0

Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment reunite for their fourth collaboration after The Lunchbox, Gyaarah Gyaarah, and Kill, with Udta Teer, a high-energy spy comedy starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan. The makers have locked 11 September 2026 as the release date, positioning the film in a festive window that traditionally favours mass entertainers.

What makes Udta Teer particularly interesting is how it leans into Ayushmann Khurrana’s most bankable zone, quirky, rooted humour blended with high-concept premises. From Vicky Donor to Dream Girl, Ayushmann has built a niche where social awkwardness meets mainstream comedy. Here, that sensibility is being transplanted into the spy genre, a space usually dominated by slick action and nationalism-heavy storytelling. The result seems like a tonal shift, more chaotic caper with desi eccentricity.

The film is described as a full-blown caper, which suggests a narrative driven by misunderstandings, disguises, reversals, and comic set-pieces rather than pure espionage tension. In global terms, this places it closer to films like Johnny English or Get Smart, but with a distinctly Indian, family-friendly flavour, something Dharma has been increasingly experimenting with in its commercial slate.

Backing this tonal gamble is an interesting production synergy. Guneet Monga Kapoor brings her trademark credibility of content-driven, globally resonant cinema, having produced films like The Lunchbox and the Oscar-winning The Elephant Whisperers. She has consistently acted as a bridge between indie storytelling and international markets, helping Indian films travel beyond traditional Bollywood circuits. At the same time, Dharma Productions ensures scale, star power, and wide theatrical reach making Udta Teer a classic content-meets-commerce hybrid.

The creative wildcard here is Akash A Kaushik, who makes his directorial debut with the film. Kaushik is best known as the writer of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, a film that successfully blended horror, comedy, and mass appeal. That pedigree is important because it signals his comfort with genre-mixing and audience-friendly humour, both crucial for a spy comedy to land. Industry reports also suggest that the script has been developed as a “perfect blend of espionage and comedy,” aiming to break away from the conventional spy template in Hindi cinema.

At a broader level, Udta Teer arrives at a time when the Hindi film industry is actively reworking the spy genre. While YRF has built a serious, interconnected spy universe, this film appears to deliberately subvert that tone, turning espionage into playground chaos rather than patriotic gravitas. If executed well, it could open up a parallel lane, the “fun spy film” space, which Bollywood has rarely cracked consistently.

In that sense, Udta Teer isn’t just another collaboration, it’s a strategic genre pivot. A film that attempts to answer a simple but intriguing question: What happens when India’s most relatable everyman hero enters a world built for larger-than-life spies?

The Drama Races Into Top 10 A24 Hits In Just 10 Days

The Drama, starring Robert Pattinson and Zendaya, has shown a strong performance at the domestic box office in North America within just ten days of its release. The film is steadily earning good numbers and is expected to enter the list of top 5 highest grossing films for A24 in the region.

The romantic comedy is currently facing competition from You, Me & Tuscany, another film in the same genre. Despite this, the combined popularity of its lead actors has helped maintain its momentum. While the film was made on a modest budget and still has a long way to go in terms of total earnings, it is not expected to surpass Marty Supreme, which remains A24’s highest grossing film in North America.

According to trade analyst Luiz Fernando, the film recorded one of the strongest second Tuesday collections in A24’s history. It earned $1.4 million on its second discounted Tuesday at the domestic box office. This figure shows a 46.6 percent drop compared to the previous Tuesday. Even with this drop, the film’s performance remains comparable to Civil War, which also earned $1.4 million on a similar day, though it is behind Marty Supreme’s $2.1 million.

After this, the total domestic collection of The Drama has reached $33.2 million. Based on its current trend, it is expected to reach around $50 million during its run in North America.

The film has also entered the list of the top 10 highest grossing A24 films of all time in North America. It has surpassed the earnings of Babygirl, an erotic thriller starring Nicole Kidman, which had collected $28.2 million during its theatrical run.

Currently, the top performers for A24 in North America include films like Everything Everywhere All at Once with $77 million and Uncut Gems with $50 million. With projections suggesting a total between $50 million and $60 million, The Drama is expected to move further up the rankings and secure a place among the top 5. The film was released on April 3.

Yash Breaks Silence On Ramayana VFX Comparison With Adipurush

0

Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana is one of the most talked about films planned for 2026. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi as Sita. On April 2, the makers released the first look of Ranbir Kapoor, which received a positive response from many viewers. However, some people pointed out issues with the visual effects and compared it to Adipurush.

Actor Yash, who plays Ravana in the film, has now responded to these comments. He explained that the visuals shown so far are not final. He described them as “work in progress” and said improvements are expected before the film releases.

The team has started early promotions for the film. Recently, Yash and producer Namit Malhotra attended CinemaCon 2026 in Los Angeles. At the event, they spoke about the scale and planning of the project. In a video shared online, Yash spoke about the VFX work and said, “It’s DNEG (the VFX company) on board. So the photo – realistic, the visuals that you are talking – it’s still work in progress. I am sure it will be even better when we’ll see the finished product. We are really making a product which is top-notch.”

During the same visit, they also spoke to international media. In a conversation with Michael Sandoval, Yash shared details about the film’s release timeline. He said, “Ramayana, we are planning this year. This year, Diwali, which is in October last week.” However, in 2026, Diwali is expected to fall in early November. Earlier reports suggested that Ramayana Part 1 could release on October 30.

The makers have already confirmed that the second part of the film will release on Diwali 2027. The film is currently in production.

Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash, the film also features Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. The film continues to generate interest due to its large scale, cast, and overall concept.

Aaron Carter’s Mom Starts Fundraiser to Get Him a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star

0

Aaron Carter’s legacy is back in the spotlight, this time through a deeply personal effort led by his mother. Jane Carter Schneck has launched a GoFundMe campaign to secure her late son a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The goal is set at $85,000, which is the official fee required for the creation, installation, and long-term maintenance of a star. The campaign is being positioned as a collective effort. Fans, friends, and supporters are being encouraged to contribute or simply share the fundraiser to help honor Aaron’s life and career.

But here’s the reality. Getting a star on the Walk of Fame isn’t just about money. There’s a formal nomination process involved, and not every submission gets approved. Even if the funds are raised, the final decision still depends on the selection committee.

As of now, the campaign has just begun, with only a handful of donors contributing in its early stage. Jane Carter has reportedly said she plans to submit the application before the May 15 deadline. For many, this raises a bigger conversation about legacy.

Aaron Carter rose to fame in the early 2000s, becoming a teenage pop sensation with hits like “I Want Candy” and “Aaron’s Party.” He toured internationally, appeared on multiple TV shows, and built a fanbase that still remembers him today. He also frequently shared the spotlight with his brother Nick Carter during the early phase of his career. But his life was also marked by struggles.

In the years leading up to his death in 2022 at the age of 34, Carter dealt with legal issues and mental health challenges. His passing, reportedly linked to substance use, shocked fans and brought renewed attention to the pressures of early fame. Now, this fundraiser is less about controversy and more about remembrance.

The GoFundMe description frames it as a way to celebrate his impact on a generation. Whether the campaign succeeds or not, it’s clear that for his family and fans, Aaron Carter’s place in pop culture is already secured. The question is whether Hollywood will officially recognize it.

Varun Tej Injured During Bhari Shoot Fans Concerned

0

Varun Tej recently suffered a knee injury while preparing for his upcoming film Bhari. The actor was involved in intense training sessions and was practicing volleyball for the sports based drama when the injury happened. Due to the severity of the injury, he had to undergo a minor surgical procedure.

On April 15, his sister Niharika Konidela shared an official update about his health through social media. She informed that Varun Tej is now recovering and is under proper medical care. In her statement, she said, “My brother recently sustained a severe knee fracture while practicing volleyball for our upcoming film Bhari. He has successfully undergone surgery, and the procedure went well. He is currently recovering under medical supervision.” She further added, “We are hopeful that he will regain full strength and health. We truly appreciate all the love, concern, and support during this time.”

After this update, many fans reacted online and expressed their concern for the actor. Some wished him a quick recovery and shared supportive messages.

Bhari is being described as a sports driven drama and is currently under production. The film is expected to release during the Sankranthi festive season. Niharika Konidela is also associated with the project as a producer. She had earlier started her production journey with Committee Kurrollu and has been actively working on different projects since then.

Before Bhari, she backed the film RaaKaaSaa, which received a mixed response at the box office. Now, she is once again collaborating with her brother for this new project.

In a recent interview with NDTV, Niharika spoke about how she became a producer at the age of 22. She explained, “It was not a very like a conscious, calculative decision, to be honest. When I made my first web series, I released it on YouTube because there were no OTT platforms in 2015. I wrote, produced and acted in Muddapappu Avakai. I launched my production Pink Elephant Pictures the same year and my journey as producer has been organic since then. I have worked on numerous series and ventured into feature films with Committee Kurrollu in 2024. The film was a hit and I followed it up with RaaKaaSaa now and am happy to see its success.”
