Rosie O’Donnell Reveals She Secretly Got a Facelift That Cost More Than Any Car She’s Ever Bought

0

Rosie O’Donnell is opening up about undergoing a secret facelift earlier this year, admitting the cosmetic procedure left her feeling both grateful and conflicted. According to media sources, the 64 year old comedian and former talk show host revealed in a Substack post that she underwent a lower deep plane facelift in January, describing it as a procedure that “cost more money than I have ever paid for a car.”

“My privileged place in this world,” O’Donnell wrote. “And that feels almost shameful to me.”

The actress explained that for most of her life, she strongly opposed cosmetic surgery and once considered facelifts a betrayal of feminism and aging naturally.

“I thought it was a betrayal. Of feminism. Of aging. Of our team of women worldwide,” she wrote.

However, after losing nearly 50 pounds, O’Donnell said her feelings about cosmetic procedures began to change.

She struggled internally with the idea for quite some time and even discussed it with her youngest daughter Clay, 13, who initially advised against it.

“Young women look up to you,” Clay reportedly told her.

O’Donnell admitted the conversation deeply affected her because her daughter sounded “exactly like” her younger self.

Still, the comedian ultimately decided to move forward with the surgery after extensive research and choosing a doctor recommended by friends.

She clarified that she never wanted to become obsessed with cosmetic enhancements or constantly chase perfection.

“I didn’t want to become that voice, the one that keeps moving the goalpost, never satisfied,” she explained.

Surprisingly, O’Donnell claimed almost nobody noticed she had undergone surgery.

“Not one person. Not a friend, not a stranger,” she wrote, adding that even her daughter had not commented on the change.

Despite being happy with the subtle results, O’Donnell admitted she still feels conflicted about the decision and continues to wrestle with feelings of guilt and dishonesty.

“There’s a sense of deceit I’m struggling with,” she shared.

O’Donnell concluded her reflection by saying she is simply grateful to still be alive and able to speak openly about her experiences as she moves through what she called “act 3” of her life.

Bee Gees legend Barry Gibb has once again become the target of a viral internet death hoax. According to media sources, a Facebook page titled “R.I.P. Barry Gibb” recently gained nearly one million likes over the long weekend, falsely claiming that the iconic singer had passed away. However, the report confirmed that the 79 year old musician is alive and healthy. TMZ cited members of Gibb’s family, who reportedly said the singer is “healthy, happy, and living life” at his Miami-area home.

The false reports quickly spread across social media platforms, with several posts claiming the Bee Gees star had died. Many of the posts reportedly included AI-generated images showing Gibb in hospital beds or even inside coffins.

Entertainment Weekly noted that celebrity death hoaxes have become increasingly common online, especially with the rise of AI-generated content and fake Facebook engagement pages designed to attract clicks and shares.

Some of the misleading posts about Gibb had reportedly been circulating for almost a year before going viral again recently.

Barry Gibb is the last surviving member of the legendary Bee Gees trio, which included his brothers Maurice and Robin Gibb. Maurice passed away in 2003, while Robin died in 2012. Their younger brother Andy Gibb, who also enjoyed solo success, died in 1988 at the age of 30.

The Bee Gees remain one of the most influential music groups in history, known for timeless hits like “Stayin’ Alive,” “Night Fever,” “You Should Be Dancing,” and “To Love Somebody.”

The group became global superstars during the disco era, especially after contributing heavily to the iconic Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.

In a previous interview with The Guardian, Gibb reflected on the overwhelming pressure that came with worldwide fame.

“There’s fame and there’s ultra-fame and it can destroy,” he said. “You lose your perspective, you’re in the eye of a hurricane and you don’t know you’re there.”

The Bee Gees were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 and continue to influence generations of artists across pop, disco, and soul music.

Despite the latest viral rumours, Barry Gibb is very much alive, and fans can stop worrying.

0

Akshara Singh is extremely happy and emotional as she steps into mainstream Bollywood with the song Ghis Ghis Ghis from Welcome To The Jungle. The film stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role, and for Akshara, this project feels like a dream come true. She shared that she grew up dancing to Akshay Kumar’s songs and never thought she would one day perform alongside him on the big screen.

Calling it one of the biggest moments of her career, the actress said the experience has been unforgettable for her. What impressed Akshara the most was Akshay Kumar’s humble and respectful nature on the sets. She revealed that while shooting the song, Akshay kept asking her about the correct pronunciation of Bhojpuri words and wanted to fully understand the meaning and emotion behind every line.

According to Akshara, his sincerity and dedication surprised everyone on the set. She also recalled a moment that touched her deeply. During a still shoot, she was reportedly asked to wear a traditional ghaghra choli look. However, Akshay Kumar immediately stepped in and told the team to let her wear whatever she felt comfortable in. Akshara said that gesture showed the kind of person Akshay truly is and made her feel respected and valued.

The actress was equally touched by the support she received from famous choreographer Ganesh Acharya. Akshara said people often carry stereotypes about Bhojpuri actors, but Ganesh Acharya praised her talent openly in front of his team. She added that most Hindi songs inspired by Bhojpuri culture only carry a slight Bhojpuri flavor, but this time Akshay Kumar performed a complete Bhojpuri song in the Bhojpuri language itself, which made the project even more special for her.

The energetic track Ghis Ghis Ghis has been composed by Vikram Montrose and sung by Vikram Montrose along with Supriyaa Paathak. The lyrics are written by Abhinav Shekhar. Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome To The Jungle features a huge star cast and is all set to release in theatres on June 26, 2026.

Pati Patni Aur Woh Do Shows Surprise Jump At Box Office On Day 12

Pati Patni Aur Woh Do continued its theatrical run with a slight improvement in collections on its 2nd Tuesday. The film earned around ₹1.25 crore on Day 12, showing a 20 per cent increase compared to its Monday collection.

With this, the film’s total collection for the second week reached approximately ₹9.25 crore in 5 days. According to trade estimates, the movie is expected to finish its second week with collections between ₹11 crore and ₹12 crore nett. Its total box office collection currently stands at around ₹37.25 crore, and the film is expected to cross the ₹40 crore mark by the end of Week 2.

The movie stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh, Wamiqa Gabbi and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles. The film has been directed by Mudassar Aziz.

Reports suggest that the romantic drama may end its overall theatrical run close to the ₹50 crore mark. However, trade observers believe that these numbers may not significantly change the film’s overall box office status because the movie had a slow start during its opening days. Some reports also mentioned that the collections include certain feedings, due to which the final numbers should be viewed with caution.

Industry experts have also pointed out that small and medium budget comedy films based in small town settings have struggled at the box office after 2020. During 2018 and 2019, this genre had seen strong success with several hit films, including the earlier Pati Patni Aur Woh. During that period, Ayushmann Khurrana was known for delivering multiple successful films in this category.

The day wise box office collection of Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is as follows:

Week 1 collection stood at ₹28.00 crore.

The film earned ₹1.25 crore on 2nd Friday, ₹2.50 crore on 2nd Saturday and ₹3.25 crore on 2nd Sunday. On 2nd Monday, the collection was ₹1.00 crore, while the estimated collection for 2nd Tuesday was ₹1.25 crore.

The film’s total collection now stands at ₹37.25 crore.

Suriya’s Karuppu Nears Massive ₹200 Crore Mark Despite Tuesday Drop

Karuppu continued its strong performance at the Indian box office despite seeing a drop in collections on its 2nd Tuesday. The film reportedly earned around ₹4.75 crore on Day 12, which was nearly 30 per cent lower than its Monday collection. While the drop appears noticeable, trade observers believe Monday’s unusually strong performance may have influenced the comparison.

Even after the fall on Tuesday, the film’s collections remain stable compared to its 2nd Friday numbers. According to reports, the reason behind the film’s strong Monday hold is still unclear, as such trends are generally uncommon during the second week of a theatrical run. Some reports suggest there may still have been spillover demand from the weekend.

The total Indian box office collection of the Suriya starrer now stands at around ₹183 crore after 12 days in theatres. The film is expected to collect between ₹63 crore and ₹65 crore during its second week, which could take its total close to ₹195 crore by the end of Week 2.

The day wise collections for the film are as follows:

Week One collection stood at ₹130.00 crore.

The film earned ₹9.25 crore on 2nd Friday, followed by ₹15.00 crore on 2nd Saturday and ₹17.25 crore on 2nd Sunday. On 2nd Monday, the collection was ₹6.75 crore, while 2nd Tuesday brought in ₹4.75 crore.

In Tamil Nadu, Karuppu collected around ₹3.25 crore on Tuesday. Reports suggest that after staying ahead of Vikram in second week daily collections for 3 days, the film fell behind on Tuesday. The movie is still expected to cross ₹150 crore in Tamil Nadu during its full run, although reaching ₹175 crore may become difficult if the trend continues.

The film has also performed well in the Telugu states, where its second week collection is expected to cross ₹9 crore. Reports indicate that the film could finish its overall run with more than ₹30 crore in the region and may even touch ₹35 crore if collections remain steady in the third week.

The territorial breakdown of Karuppu’s India collections stands at ₹120.75 crore from Tamil Nadu, ₹27.75 crore from APTS, ₹19.25 crore from Karnataka, ₹12.75 crore from Kerala and ₹2.50 crore from the rest of India.

David Dhawan And Ramesh Taurani Break Silence On Vashu Bhagnani Dispute

0

Ramesh Taurani, filmmaker David Dhawan and the team behind Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai have publicly responded to allegations made by producer Vashu Bhagnani. In an official statement released on Wednesday, the makers described the claims as a “smear campaign driven by personal vendetta.”

The statement said, “A series of baseless allegations have been made against us by Mr. Vashu Bhagnani. It is amply clear to us that this is a smear campaign driven by personal vendetta, intended to derail the release of our film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.”

The makers also spoke about their long professional relationship with Bhagnani, stating that it goes back to 1995. According to the statement, “When we generously offered him a 50 percent partnership and a producer credit on a project for which we had laid out all the groundwork. Coolie No. 1 went on to become a massive box office hit and gave Mr. Bhagnani a kick start in the industry.”

The statement further claimed that despite maintaining silence out of respect for their old association, Bhagnani continued spreading misinformation through social media and other platforms. The team also questioned why the legal complaint was filed in Katihar court in Bihar, which they pointed out is over 2000 kms away from Mumbai.

The makers stated that they are the “lawful owners” of the songs Chunnari Chunnari and Ishq Sona Hai. They added, “We urge the public to not pay heed to such targeted negativity. We maintain that we are the absolute and lawful owners of the songs Chunnari Chunnari and Ishq Sona Hai.”

Earlier, Tips Music had also issued a statement after Puja Entertainment approached a Bihar court, alleging that copyrighted songs and content were being commercially used without proper permission. Reports later stated that the court granted interim protection and asked all parties to maintain status quo.

During the trailer launch of the film, Ramesh Taurani had said, “Everything is fine, and going ahead everything will get sorted, it’s not a problem. And it’s a sub judice matter so we are handling it.”

However, Vashu Bhagnani later rejected those claims on social media and stated, “Nothing has been sorted with me till today. Saying ‘everything is settled’ in front of cameras does not change the truth. Nothing is over. The matter is in court, and the truth will come out there, not by passing the mic to someone else. Making such public claims while the matter is still in court is itself contempt of court.”

Matthew Perry’s Sisters Accuse Late Actor’s Assistant of Betrayal Ahead of Sentencing

0

Matthew Perry’s family is speaking out ahead of the sentencing of the late actor’s longtime assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, accusing him of betraying the trust of both Perry and his loved ones. According to media sources, Perry’s mother Suzanne Morrison and his half-sisters Caitlin and Madeline Morrison submitted emotional victim impact statements before Iwamasa’s May 27 sentencing in connection with the actor’s 2023 ketamine overdose death. Iwamasa, who had worked for Perry for more than two decades, pleaded guilty in 2024 to conspiracy to distribute ketamine causing death. Prosecutors are reportedly seeking a 41 month prison sentence.

In her statement, Madeline Morrison described the devastating emotional impact of discovering the truth about her brother’s final moments.

“The idea that someone my brother considered family could betray him in such an unimaginable way is something I never could have conceived,” she wrote.

According to the report, Madeline said the family initially trusted Iwamasa completely and believed his version of events following Perry’s death. However, after learning details from investigators, she said it felt like “Matthew died all over again.”

She also recalled visiting Perry’s home shortly after his death and noticing Iwamasa behaving nervously while repeatedly offering explanations about what happened.

“In reality, he was trying to distract us from the truth,” she alleged in the statement referenced by Entertainment Weekly.

It was further noted that Madeline accused Iwamasa of injecting Perry with ketamine and “leaving him in a hot tub to die,” a claim that has intensified public scrutiny surrounding the case.

Caitlin Morrison also expressed outrage in her own statement, saying she had “no sympathy” for Iwamasa. She reportedly questioned whether Perry’s fatal overdose was truly accidental and accused the assistant of abandoning the actor while he was vulnerable.

Matthew Perry’s mother Suzanne Morrison thanked investigators and the court for uncovering the truth behind her son’s death. However, she also acknowledged that there is no such thing as closure after losing a child.

“Nothing takes this pain away,” she wrote.

Perry, best known for playing Chandler Bing on Friends, died in October 2023 at the age of 54. His death shocked fans worldwide and sparked a major investigation into the people accused of supplying and administering ketamine to the actor during his ongoing struggles with addiction.
