0

The Jonas Brothers are heading back to Camp Rock as Disney+ has announced Camp Rock 3, due for release next year. The news came with a 42-second teaser that gave nostalgic fans of the franchise a thrill. Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas are back in their memorable roles as Shane, Nate, and Jason Gray. The teaser as a whole playfully addresses the two earlier films with Nick saying, “Music, friendship, memories,” Joe adding, “We’re back, exactly where we’re supposed to be,” while Kevin jokingly mentioned, “Still no birdhouse.”

The third entry follows Connect 3 as they go back to Camp Rock for a special reunion tour to find the next breakout star. This time, the musical franchise is introducing a new set of young campers: Sage, played by Segura; her laid-back brother Desi, played by Hudson Stone; Fletch, played by Malachi Barton; cello prodigy Rosie, played by Lumi Pollack; energetic drummer Cliff, played by Casey Trotter; choreographer Callie, played by Brooklynn Pitts; and influencer Madison, played by Ava Jean. As hopes rise and ambitions clash, the campers enter rivalries, friendships, and budding romances to land the most coveted opening slot on Connect 3’s tour.

Maria Canals-Barrera will return as Connie Torres, a role she has been part of for a long time. Per the official IMDb synopsis, the stakes are higher than ever as young musicians fight to make their mark at the legendary summer camp.

Camp Rock 3 is directed by Veronica Rodriguez from a script by Eydie Faye. Demi Lovato, who headlined the first two films as Mitchie Torres, will executive produce alongside the Jonas Brothers, Tim Federle, Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman, and Gary Marsh.

The original Camp Rock aired in 2008, followed by Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam in 2010. The forthcoming film promises a nostalgic yet fresh continuation of the musical legacy.

Baari khulli aa gandasi hath phadi hoyi hai
Yaar di gypsy sandha de naal bhari hoyi hai
Baari khulli aa gandasi hath phadi hoyi hai

Yeah death is a promise but what is beyond it
I’m sure that i’ll know soon i know when i find it
I’m lookin’ for answers and the meaning behind it
I’m takin’ a chance here yeah i’m gamblin’ on it

When everyone said that we couldn’t
Put in a register even the odds
The odds against me demons that tear me
Usually come with a smile

Ain’t nothin’ that i wouldn’t do for the people
I love i’ve been ready to die
We’re armed and ready it’s about to get heavy
Now tell me you ready or not

Yeah you ready or not tell me you ready or not
You ready or not you really ready or not
Tell me you ready or not
Can’t tell if you’re ready or not
Are you really ready or not
We know if you’re ready or not

Kaule donaal hai death is a promise
Aar ya paar hai but what is beyond it
Naaran de dil te i’m taking a chance here
Jatt di maar hai easy easy

Kaule donaal hai i’m looking for answers
Aar ya paar hai the meaning behind it
Naaran de dil te i’m sure that i’ll know soon
Jatt di maar hai ez ez

Yaar di gypsy sandha de naal bhari hoyi aa
Baari khulli hai gandasi hath phadi hoyi aa
Vairi di nadd te nadd ni chadhi hoyi aa
Shoota vatt de aa maut mure khadi hoyi aa

Yaar di gypsy sandha de naal bhari hoyi aa
Baari khulli hai gandasi hath phadi hoyi aa
Yaar di gypsy sandha de naal bhari hoyi aa
Baari khulli hai gandasi hath phadi hoyi aa

Yeah you ready or not (easy easy)
You ready or not (easy easy)
Tell me you ready or not (easy easy)

Bigg Boss 19 Trophy Unveiled: A Blingy Masterpiece that Matches the ‘Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar’ Vibe!

0

Bigg Boss 19 is racing toward its grand finale on December 7, bringing an end to a season filled with dramatic confrontations, shifting alliances, and emotional highs and lows. In the latest episode, Malti Chahar was evicted from the house, officially locking in the top five finalists: Farrhana Bhatt, Gaurav Khanna, Amaal Mallik, Tanya Mittal, and Pranit More.

However, Malti’s eviction wasn’t the only major moment of the night. The episode also featured the much-anticipated unveiling of this season’s trophy, which instantly became the highlight for both contestants and fans. Staying true to the theme “Gharwalon ki sarkaar,” the trophy is flashy, stylish, and incorporates the same hand gesture Salman Khan showcased in the show’s pre-season promos—making it a symbolic representation of this year’s concept.

The finalists were invited to the assembly room for the reveal, and their wide-eyed reactions reflected the magnitude of reaching this final stage. With only days left until the finale, anticipation is at an all-time high to see who will take the trophy home.

The episode began on a lighter note with a friendly interaction between Malti and Pranit More, which unexpectedly turned sour after Pranit accidentally kicked her. Though he apologised immediately, Malti remained upset, and the tension carried into the eviction process. When her name was announced, she exited the house without speaking to Pranit or Amaal—both of whom she had accused of mistreating her during the season. Pranit later broke down in the dressing area, hurt that she left without a word.

After Malti’s exit, the contestants were asked to write down the name of the person they believed deserved to win. Their choices led to an argument between Farrhana and Tanya when Farrhana felt overlooked. The episode concluded emotionally, with housemates reflecting on their personal highs and lows.

Katy Perry Steals the Show at Lunch with Japan’s Ex-PM and Justin Trudeau

Katy Perry traded the energy of concert arenas for a diplomatic setting during a recent visit to Japan, accompanying her partner, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, to a luncheon with former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko. The meeting took place on December 3 in Tokyo, where Kishida shared a photograph of the four standing before a Christmas tree, marking a rare political appearance for the global pop star.

In his social media post, Kishida referred to Perry as Trudeau’s partner and highlighted their longstanding relationship, noting that he and Trudeau had worked closely during their respective terms to strengthen Japan–Canada relations. He expressed happiness that their friendship continued beyond public office. Trudeau reposted Kishida’s message, thanking him for the warm meeting and praising his commitment to international cooperation and global stability.

This marks the first time Perry has publicly joined Trudeau in a diplomatic environment. The couple first drew widespread attention in July, not long after Perry ended her nine-year on-and-off relationship with actor Orlando Bloom. Perry and Bloom continue to co-parent their daughter, Daisy Dove. Trudeau, meanwhile, was previously married to Sophie Grégoire, with whom he shares three children—Xavier, Ella-Grace, and Hadrien. The two separated in 2023.

Public curiosity about Perry and Trudeau intensified after they were photographed sharing a kiss on a yacht in Santa Barbara months earlier. They made their first official public appearance as a couple during Perry’s birthday celebrations in October, when they attended a show at the legendary Crazy Horse Paris cabaret.

A source close to the pair told People that their relationship has deepened significantly. Trudeau has been making consistent efforts to spend time with Perry, and the singer is reportedly “having a lot of fun” as they make upcoming holiday plans together.

Shehbaz Badesha Breaks Down Watching Shehnaaz Gill’s ‘Ikk Kudi’ Performance

0

Shehbaz Badesha had an emotional and heartwarming reaction after watching his sister Shehnaaz Gill’s latest film Ikk Kudi. Fresh out of the Bigg Boss 19 house following his eviction, Shehbaz reunited with fellow contestants Mridul Tiwari and Zeishan Quadri for a movie night, where they were spotted exiting the theatre after the screening.

The outing became even more special when Shehnaaz herself joined the trio outside the cinema, posing cheerfully for the paparazzi. When asked about his thoughts on the film, Shehbaz couldn’t contain his feelings. “Bhai dekho abhi dekh ke aaya… ro ke aaya,” he said, visibly moved by his sister’s performance. Mridul chimed in with equal enthusiasm, urging everyone to watch the film whenever they get the chance.

Zeishan Quadri used the moment to offer support for fellow contestant and Bigg Boss 19 finalist Amaal Mallik. “Vote for Amaal Mallik,” he said, prompting cheers from those around. During a conversation with Screen, Shehbaz reflected on his bond with Amaal, saying that being perceived as playing the game in Amaal’s “shadow” didn’t bother him. “He is like a brother to me,” Shehbaz said. “If someone can take a bullet for a friend, then this was just a game. Our friendship will continue outside too.”

He added that he genuinely wishes Amaal wins the show, believing no one else deserves the trophy more.

Addressing criticism about being labeled “Shehnaaz ki kamai par palnewala,” Shehbaz responded candidly. He admitted that he has struggled in life and relies on his sister’s support. “Yes, I do depend on her. She gives me money, and I accept it proudly,” he said. Now, after his stint on Bigg Boss, he feels more hopeful. “The good time has come, and I will do my best. As for that tag—main Shehnaaz ki kamai khaate rahunga, tension nahi hai.”

Mortal Kombat Star Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa Dies at 75 After Stroke

0

Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, the acclaimed Japanese-American actor best known for bringing the sorcerer Shang Tsung to life in the 1995 Mortal Kombat film, has passed away at the age of 75. He died Thursday in Santa Barbara, Calif., due to complications from a stroke, confirmed his publicist Penny Vizcarra.

Born on September 27, 1950, in Tokyo to actress Mariko Hata, Tagawa spent his early years moving around several states, including North Carolina, Louisiana, and Texas, until he finally settled in Southern California. Much of his identity had formed through his experiences in the post-war South as a Japanese American, and it was during the high-school years at Duarte High that he started getting interested in acting. Before entering Hollywood, Tagawa moved to Los Angeles to teach Chu Shin-a martial arts system he personally developed.

His ex-wife of 30 years, Sally Phillips, said that during this time, he was discovered by director Bernardo Bertolucci, who later cast him as Chang in The Last Emperor. The role launched a prolific career spanning over three decades across film and television.

Tagawa gained recognition for his commanding screen presence, often playing the character roles imbued with power, mystery, and physical intensity. His list of film credits included Licence to Kill, Rising Sun, Pearl Harbor, Memoirs of a Geisha, Planet of the Apes, and such television series as Nash Bridges, Heroes, Revenge, and The Man in the High Castle, where his performance received widespread acclaim.

Yet, it was his portrayal of Shang Tsung that sealed his cultural legacy. Following word of his death, Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon paid his respects and praised Tagawa’s singular mixture of menace, charisma, and athleticism for the role.

Tagawa spent his later years on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. He is survived by his children-Calen, Byrnne, and Cana-and grandchildren River and Thea Clayton.

Dhurandhar Movie Review | Ambitious Spy Drama

0

Dhurandhar, set against the dramatic backdrop of the IC-814 hijacking and the 2001 Parliament attack, begins with an inherently compelling premise. The film claims its roots in real events, and several characters across India and Pakistan appear inspired by real individuals involved in the complex web of cross-border operations. Writer-director Aditya Dhar attempts to use this foundation to dive into every layer of the Pakistan-based nexuses that have historically posed threats to India, trying to expose the machinery that fuels attacks and covert operations.

Within this landscape, the story of India’s Intelligence Bureau Chief Ajay Sanyal (R. Madhavan), who designs an audacious undercover mission inside Pakistan, becomes the narrative’s emotional and political spine. His decision to recruit a young Punjab boy, Hamza (Ranveer Singh), imprisoned for a revenge-driven crime, adds a human dimension to the story. Watching this raw, angry young man being moulded into a covert weapon capable of penetrating Karachi’s ruthless underworld has all the makings of a gripping spy saga.

And yet, the final film doesn’t always convert this strong conceptual groundwork into an equally powerful cinematic experience. Despite the ambition on display—in scale, research, and intention—the narrative struggles to maintain the focus and sharpness required to match the stakes it sets up. There are moments when the film moves confidently, especially in its action sequences and certain character-driven stretches, but the momentum isn’t consistent enough to hold the audience in a firm grip. At over three and a half hours, the film begins to feel heavy—not because the subject lacks intrigue, but because the storytelling cannot always sustain its own intensity.

This becomes more evident when seen against the filmmaker’s earlier triumph, URI, which raised expectations for crisp pacing and emotional depth. Dhurandhar carries flashes of that calibre, but they remain fleeting. Inevitably, comparisons arise with Nikkhil Advani’s D-Day, another spy drama rooted in real-world tensions; despite its different narrative lens, D-Day managed to keep its viewers engaged throughout, something Dhurandhar attempts but doesn’t fully achieve.

The performances, however, are a strong pillar. Ranveer Singh brings clear physical commitment to Hamza, while Sanjay Dutt as SP Chaudhary Aslam and Akshaye Khanna as Rehman Dakait provide the gravitas and menace their roles demand. The production design is atmospheric, the world-building feels authentic, and the climactic act does deliver a certain payoff that the narrative keeps hinting at. But the emotional core—the personal cost of becoming a spy, the transformation from man to weapon, the blurred lines of duty and identity—never lands with the force the premise promises.

The film’s A-certificate also narrows its potential audience, especially for a project mounted at this scale. It may eventually find a more patient and appreciative viewership once it arrives on OTT, where the length and darkness of tone are less of a barrier.

In the end, Dhurandhar stands as a film of strong intent and impressive ambition—rooted in real events, backed by scale, and powered by committed performances—but it never completely becomes the tense, immersive spy thriller it sets out to be. It remains a respectable attempt with enough positives for a one-time watch, though its overall impact stays closer to “just okay” than exceptional.

Kim Cattrall Ties the Knot with Russell Thomas in Intimate London Wedding

Kim Cattrall and her longtime partner Russell Thomas have officially tied the knot in a beautifully intimate ceremony in London. The Sex and the City star, 69, and the accomplished audio engineer, 55, exchanged vows on December 4 at Chelsea Old Town Hall, surrounded by only 12 close friends and family members. The pair opted for a quiet, elegant celebration that reflected their shared preference for privacy and authenticity.

Cattrall looked effortlessly sophisticated in a tailored Dior suit, styled by her longtime collaborator, the iconic Patricia Field. Her ensemble was completed with classic Cornelia James gloves and a bespoke hat crafted by renowned milliner Philip Treacy. Thomas matched her understated elegance in a custom Richard James suit, emphasizing the couple’s appreciation for refined craftsmanship.

Their love story began in 2016 when Cattrall appeared on BBC’s Woman’s Hour, where Thomas was working. A spark formed quickly, and the two soon followed each other on X. In a 2018 interview, Cattrall shared that Thomas reached out to her via direct message — a modern beginning to what would become a deeply meaningful relationship. Eventually, Thomas visited her in Vancouver, a leap that strengthened their bond and marked the beginning of their life together.

Over the years, the couple has chosen to prioritize privacy, keeping their romance largely away from the public eye. Cattrall has often expressed how grounded and joyful the relationship has been, praising Thomas’s humor, charm, and adventurous spirit. In a 2025 Times profile, she reflected fondly on their journey, saying they have “had such a blast” together and admired his independent nature and “rebel” streak.

Their wedding marks a graceful continuation of a relationship built on mutual respect, quiet companionship, and a genuine connection that has only deepened with time.

Akhanda 2 Release Postponed: Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Film Hit by Financial Troubles

0

Akhanda 2 of Nandamuri Balakrishna, which was scheduled to release on December 5, is now postponed, thereby disappointing fans. The makers have officially announced this news on X, stating that the delay was caused due to unavoidable circumstances and assured audiences that they are sorting out the issues as soon as possible. A new date has not been announced, but the team assured of a positive update shortly.

Their statement read: “With a heavy heart, we regret to inform you that #Akhanda2 will not be releasing as scheduled due to unavoidable circumstances… We are working tirelessly to resolve the matter at the earliest.”

The first signs of trouble emerged in the Telugu states-especially in the Nizam region-where advance bookings were delayed and then cancelled. The paid premieres, scheduled for December 4, were scrapped too. Overseas premiers did not happen as the theatres did not get their KDMs and hence, could not play the scheduled shows according to reports. Financial strain from previous projects contributed to the production house’s difficulties.

Matters went worse with a serious legal set back in Tamil Nadu. The Madras High Court granted an injunction order staying the film’s release over a dispute arising between Eros International Media Limited and 14 Reels Entertainment relating to an arbitral award of about ₹28 crore. The court ordered that releasing Akhanda 2 from the banner of 14 Reels Plus LLP would amount to breach of the award and restrained any distribution or commercial exploitation of the movie until further orders.

Despite the delay in the film’s release, the first review for the movie is already out. A user on social media praised the film’s director Boyapati Sreenu and termed the movie a powerful mass entertainer. He cited the commanding performance of Balakrishna as Aghora Akhanda as electrifying with high emotional intensity.

Produced by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta for 14 Reels Plus, the film also stars Samyuktha, Aadhi Pinisetty, and Harshali Malhotra in key roles, raising expectations even higher for its eventual release.

Alia Bhatt Shares Heartwarming Moments from Raha’s Birthday and Griha Pravesh Pooja

Alia Bhatt has officially stepped into the holiday spirit, giving fans a warm glimpse into her November through a charming photo dump on Friday. Captioned, “november 2025… you were a month & a half ”, the photos capture a mix of family moments, celebrations, and hints at new beginnings.

A highlight of the collection was daughter Raha’s third birthday celebration. Though Alia continues to maintain her policy of not revealing Raha’s face on social media, she shared snippets from the intimate gathering, including a picture of the birthday cake and images featuring close friends and family. Proud grandparents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan were also part of the festivities, adding to the emotional warmth of the day.

Another set of photos appeared to be from the griha pravesh pooja of Alia and Ranbir Kapoor’s newly renovated Bandra home. The pictures featured Ranbir, Neetu Kapoor, and references to the late Rishi Kapoor, who had initially overseen the renovation plans before his passing in 2020. The family recently moved into the newly completed multi-storey home in Pali Hill, making the ceremony especially meaningful.

Alia’s post also included photos from her sister Shaheen Bhatt’s birthday celebration, along with images of two unlabelled skincare bottles—hinting at a possible new entrepreneurial venture from the actor.

Professionally, Alia has had a quiet 2025 with no releases. She is set to return to the screen in YRF’s Alpha, the next chapter in the studio’s Spy-verse, scheduled for April 2026 and co-starring Sharvari. She will also appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.

Ranbir Kapoor, too, has kept a low profile since Animal (2023). Apart from Love and War, he is preparing for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan, portraying Lord Rama opposite Sai Pallavi and Yash.
